Free code signing certificates

Code signing certificates may be an issue regarding many setups. Some organizations provide these certificates to FOSS projects for free. I believe Technitium Library and the DNS server can make use of it. One of them is https://signpath.org/

Thanks. I know about this but the issue using such service is that they hold the private keys and they will build the release on their own. So for each release, the developer has to raise ticket with them and expect them to do the task soon.

Btw, I am planning to purchase a commercial code signing cert soon.

I didn't know that. Code signing cert is not cheap also. Do you make enough income to support that via patreon?

Ya, they are quite expensive and will take a good chunk of Patreon donations. But it will help since a lot of people have issues where the windows installer gets detected as malware due to heuristics and some signatures that match with the inno setup binary.
