Maybe an oversight on my end, but I finished implementing the database for the mini-message-board only to realise I forgot about server-side validation!

Was thinking maybe it's worth adding a note in the Assignment section somewhere near #3.3 to implement that too, for people who, like me, will just follow the instructions as written and forget about it :)

Server-side validation is not a requirement for that project, so there's no need to add it.

Correct, however "Using PostgreSQL" lesson comes after it - and that is the lesson that has the assignment #2 of adding PostgreSQL to the message board project

I think it's sensible to add that to the revisiting assignment. It feels more like an oversight that that assignment only requests adding a DB despite having also covered server-side validation in the meantime, than a purposeful omission. I think even just an extra bullet like "While you're at it, add server-side validation to ensure ..." etc. It's an important concept after all.
