Possible Other Means for Control

What else can we use to control it?

Perhaps we could do something involving the hands or head. A bedridden person (i.e. a cancer patient) might have control over their hands, but not enough strength  to lift items. Or perhaps someone cannot use their hands or feet and need to rely on their head.
