Trilium Presentation CSS Not Working?

I tried to customize presentation slide styles (background, fonts, cards, etc.) using ~viewerCSS or other CSS in presentation mode, but it does not take effect. How should presentation CSS be correctly applied or enabled in Trilium 0.99.3?

There is no ~viewerCSS in Trilium.
For performance reasons and to prevent affecting the UI, the CSS is not customizable via #appCss, as stated in https://docs.triliumnotes.org/user-guide/collections/presentation#customization.

We plan to add support for custom CSS theme for presentations, but it's not there yet.
