Mount several hotends on the same carriage

Could this be used for the following scenario:
I have several hotends mounted on the same carriage and they all point at the same spot (it's large format, it doesn't have to be super precise). I want to be able to do something like that:

G0 X0 Y0 
; THIS IS HOTEND/EXTRUDER 1
G1 X10 Y0 E0.5
; SOMEHOW SWITCH TO HOTEND/EXTRUDER 2 FOR THE SECOND SEGMENT
G1 X20 Y0  E0.5

What I'm after is toolchanging, but without the tools being parked. It's all on the same carriage and I want to be able to change hotends on the fly. I am doing something similar at the moment with a mixing hotend by adjusting the mixing ratio between the extruders when I want to change color. I'd like to use completely separate hotends instead, but I don't know how to translate this to a Klipper setup.

Absolutley. Should just set the new offset and switch hotend if needed.
