❗ Crash on launch with latest UE4SS build (Win64, no crash report)
Description
I tried using the latest UE4SS release by placing the Win64 files into the game’s
Win64 directory.
On launch, the UE4SS console briefly appears and then the game
crashes immediately, without generating any crash report or log.
What I tried
- Tested both Dev and non-Dev builds → same behavior
- Clean setup, only UE4SS files added
- No mods loaded (baseline test)
Expected behavior
Game should launch normally with UE4SS injected, or at least produce a crash log or error output.
Actual behavior
- UE4SS console window appears
- Immediate crash right after
- No crash report or useful output generated
Notes
- I haven’t tested older UE4SS versions yet, as I’m trying to stay on the latest release
- I can test previous versions if needed to help isolate a possible regression
Environment
- OS: Windows 11 latest (Win64)
- UE4SS version: latest release
- Game: as per title (Octopath Traveler 0)
