Which version did you upgrade to? In v2.5.1, there was a hotfix patch to fix the configuration upgrade for v2.5.0 -- if you upgraded to v2.5.0 specifically, that might've been the reason why it wanted to create a brand new config? Anyways, you shouldn't need to copy any API keys manually. When prompted, you should tap on the "request API key" button; and then say Yes to a prompt in OctoPrint, where it should then copy the key over. |

I am not sure what happened. Both printers and Octodash were working perfectly before the update. I don't know what update. I always keep things up to date, maybe a little too aggressively. After deleting the config.json file, rebooting, there was a notice about another update available but I am unable to install it because I am stuck in these setup wizard screens. No back button... It says authenticate me, where is this window supposed to appear? Before I deleted the config.json file, an API key was shown. After deleting the config file, there is no longer a key there and I get the same exact error as before... Connot connect to local host port 5000, but curl can! I am not sure what to do from here. Thank you. |

uh oh, I think I just made things worse. I ran some wget and dpkg .. It says DOWNGRADING Octodash from 2.5.0 to 2.0.0... reboot, different setup screens, result is still fails. but new messages, Connect attempt says 403 forbidden now. ok let's try that again, replaced the wget with the newest version as mentioned in the notes (I missed that).. Unpacking octodash (2.5.3) over (2.0.0) ... |

I assume there was an update released today. I was printing just fine yesterday; today Octodash said there was an update so I installed on both of my printers and octodash are no longer working on either one
After the update and reboot, octodash says Sorry to bother you, we need to make a new config... OK.
Next, select your printer, it shows printer1 and printer2, this is printer2, select printer2, Next.
API key, what was wrong with the old API key? Touch the button to request one, it fails.
There is no way to go back, only continue, Next... Next Next Next connect fails.
I review wiki, nothing really there, also ran into a broken link, reboot several times, I am in this loop.
I use SSH to connect, not a keyboard. How do I copy the API key and put it into Octodash?
Is the key shown the one that came back from the request on Octroprint?
I can curl to "printer2:5000" ......
Is it possible to roll back ?
