Video conversion using Remotion

Have you guys heard of https://www.remotion.dev/docs/webcodecs? It could replace the ffmpeg wrapper and make video conversion truly local without any installation necessary.

remotion is licensed under a proprietary license which ultimately goes against the spirit of VERT. i wouldn't want to bundle in proprietary software (even if it's source available).

How about going with something like mediabunny instead? I haven't checked in details, but it does seem to be fairly efficient and open-source.
