Explanation Needed

Hi,

thank you for the work and making this dataset available. I have a question regarding the nature of these text files. The txt files which you have in the dataset, how exactly are they malware? since txt files cant be executed. or are these malware commands in the txt files? which the ML/DL model can train itself on to recognize and analyze contents of a file?

Hi.

I had access to wide variety of malwares which were already classified into specific categories. I extracted the functions imported by these malwares and placed them into individual text files using a script. I believe file name is the md5 hash of malware from which I extracted the import address table. There is already a compiled dataset.csv in the dataset folder.
