Currently on Debian Trixie/Sid (Kernel 6.12.27-amd64), using an NVIDIA 1650 with driver version 575.51.03, Steam Runtime Diagnostic Report here, all steam runtime libs, vulkan libs, nvidia libs up to date.
Starting TF2 from Steam creates a transparent window for a split second then crashes. Starting TF2 from command line prints:
SDL video target is 'x11'
SDL video target is 'x11'
Using shader api: shaderapivk
Failed to load DLL 'shaderapivk'
MaterialSystem cannot load: No ShaderAPIFactory!
System (VMaterialSystem082) failed during stage CONNECTION
Using the -gl option however allows to start.
It is not a perfect duplicata of #6876 as my system does not share the same packages as the other's arch install, and as far as I'm concerned mine is up to date.
