Would it be possible to hide or possibly remove duplicate feeds?

I subscribe to a number of BBC rss feeds, e.g.:
http://feeds.bbci.co.uk/news/rss.xml?edition=int

When the BBC update a story, they tend to put out additional notifications, and the result is multiple feeds with the same title and URL.

Would it be possible to only show one feed, please?

The BBC changed this behaviour, and so I assume it is deliberate, and not an anomaly. Presumably some users would like to know that a story has updates?

I would therefore suggest that filter / no filter should ideally be a preference.

This is a problem specific to this feed, because the publisher uses slightly different GUIDs for different versions of an article, which causes Vienna to treat them as separate articles, even if they are otherwise identical.

@barijaona Given that this has been requested multiple times, do you think it is worthwhile adding a workaround even if it just seems to affect BBC feeds? We could also think about applying workarounds on a per-feed basis that can be enabled in the Get Info panel.

has appeared at least three times in their rss feeds, and with at least two different titles.

The GUIDs might be different, as you state, but the eventual URL is the same, as above.
