NextGen Project Code of Conduct

Welcome

Welcome to the NextGen repository! Our project aims to foster innovation in AI while promoting an open, inclusive, and respectful environment. We encourage contributions from developers of all experience levels and backgrounds, as we believe in the power of collaborative development to improve AI tools and resources. Whether you're a seasoned professional or a beginner, your contribution is valued, and we are committed to ensuring a positive experience for all.

Our Pledge

We, as contributors and maintainers, pledge to make participation in the NextGen project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socioeconomic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We commit to contributing to a friendly, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.

Our Standards

To ensure a positive experience for all, participants must adhere to the following standards:

Positive Behavior:

  • Respect: Treat everyone with kindness and respect, valuing diverse perspectives and experiences.
  • Constructive Criticism: Offer feedback that is constructive and aimed at improving both the project and contributors’ skills.
  • Collaboration: Be open to collaboration, support other contributors, and actively engage in discussions that lead to shared learning.
  • Inclusivity: Ensure discussions and contributions are inclusive and welcoming to all, regardless of experience.
  • Recognition: Celebrate the efforts and contributions of all community members.

Unacceptable Behavior:

  • Harassment: Any form of harassment, intimidation, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.
  • Personal Attacks: Avoid personal attacks, derogatory comments, and inflammatory remarks.
  • Disrespectful Contributions: Contributions that undermine the project or are made with ill intent will not be tolerated.
  • Spam or Low-Quality Contributions: Deliberate attempts to game the system with irrelevant or low-quality contributions are discouraged.

Enforcement Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for enforcing this Code of Conduct and taking appropriate action in response to any breaches. They have the right to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that violate this Code of Conduct. Maintainers will also temporarily or permanently ban contributors for behaviors deemed inappropriate, threatening, or harmful.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces (e.g., GitHub repository, discussions, etc.) and in public spaces when an individual is representing the project. This includes participation in online and offline events.

Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, you are encouraged to report it by contacting the maintainers. All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and with confidentiality. We are committed to taking appropriate actions to address any issues.

Enforcement Guidelines

Project maintainers will follow these guidelines when determining the consequences for any violations of this Code of Conduct:

  1. Correction: A private discussion with the individual(s) involved, with a clear explanation of the unacceptable behavior.
  2. Warning: A formal warning if the behavior persists.
  3. Temporary Suspension: A temporary ban from participation in the project or specific activities.
  4. Permanent Ban: Permanent exclusion from the project for serious or repeated violations.

Building a Positive Community

We aim to create a positive community where everyone can contribute to AI development while learning from each other. By fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment, we can ensure the growth of both the project and its contributors.
