curl_close is deprecated in php 8.5 and has no effect since php 8.0

Is this existing throwing any sort of errors or at least warnings/notices at the moment? If so, what are they?

If it's being detrimental to the functionality, then it may be worth us patching up so to speak. Otherwise it'll probably be a thing where we wait until Algolia fixes upstream.

You only get the problem if your php.ini has the flag E_DEPRECATED which is present in development but not in production, so it's not urgent as it will only throw an exception in production in php 8.6.
