@annezazu This is the issue that Justin was referring to in #63, for more context. From reading the title and description, this could go a few different directions. My first take was including multiple custom templates with a home page feel in a theme. I don't know that I see the connection to naming conventions for style variations with home page template options. Unless I missed a big shift, variations are applied site-wide and not at the post/page or template level. |

So, far, we have one published post and one planned tutorial on template types for patterns that will dive into this topic. I think these should sufficiently cover some of the ideas from this discussion. It's just so open-ended that I'm not sure if there are more things we should explore here or just open up specific topic ideas for them.. |

This touches on what are best practices, naming conventions for style variations, and more but I could see this becoming more of a use case, especially since this is part of what's powerfully unlocked with block themes.
