Plugin dev need help with undo/redo behavior (combining multi block atts changes in to one history step)

My plugin is based on a container block and a section block. One container can have any number of sections. These sections have zIndex attribute and i have a control on the container block that adjust the zIndex relationships between any two sections. So one button click adjusts several section's zIndex attributes. For this I am using updateBlockAttributes, to do all the updating in one dispatch, but it still produces several undo steps in the editor.

Is there any way to change several of my section block's atts and make it count as one undo step? Dont ask me why i have this container/section setup. All i can say is that they are intertwined to work together like that.

Hi, I believe that __unstableMarkNextChangeAsNotPersistent will accomplish exactly what you're trying to do.
