Contributing to VNx

We welcome contributions to VNx! You can contribute to VNx in a variety of ways. You can report bugs and feature requests using GitHub Issues. You can send patches which add new features to VNx or fix bugs in VNx. You can also send patches to update VNx documentation.

Reporting Issues

When reporting issues on GitHub, please include the following.

Use snippets instead of images when reporting these, it is much easier to track the problem.

Build Issues

  1. OS version lsb_release -a
  2. Vivado version vivado -version
  3. XRT version xbutil version

Run Time Issues

  1. OS version lsb_release -a
  2. XRT version xbutil version
  3. pynq version pynq version
  4. Jupyter Lab and Dask version if applies

Contributing Code

Please use GitHub Pull Requests (PR) for sending code contributions. When sending code sign your work as described below. Be sure to use the same license for your contributions as the current license of the VNx component you are contributing to.

Please use the Signed-off-by line at the end of your patch which indicates that you accept the Developer Certificate of Origin (DCO) defined by https://developercertificate.org/ reproduced below:
