I would like the columns to always be displayed in this order by default (add function in config.json).

As we have seen in: #6711

the columns arent stored on the server but in the browser!
so if you switch browsers or use a different computer, the columns dont sync!
so the columns are set PER browser, so this might be the problem you are having
