Directly access passkeys in Android

When trying to manage passkeys on a Yubikey 5.4.3 over NFC in the Android app 7.1.0, I am required to tap, enter the TOTP password, tap again, select passkeys, tap again, enter the FIDO2 password, tap the fourth time, if I have any edits to make, then tap the fifth time. I request that there be a way to select TOTP or FIDO either before or right after the initial tap.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, we will look into it.

Currently, if you want to access your passkeys, you don’t need to enter the OATH password. Do:

1. start the app
2. tap your YubiKey
3. select Passkeys from the drawer
4. tap your YubiKey
5. enter FIDO PIN
6. tap your YubiKey

It is not currently technically possible to avoid taps here.

A quicker way would also be to use the YubiKey over USB.

Thank you. I did not realize that I could select from the drawer as I inferred the prompt for the password as being required to proceed. While this does take away two steps, I think it would be more clear to have the available interaction options presented instead of a default interaction presented especially when that default is not configurable. It is also inconsistent with how the Security Key series is since only FIDO credentials can be accessed. Perhaps the initial screen can be the Home screen for the initial tap. This also has the benefit of displaying the Yubikey's name which can be helpful for those of us who have more than one which might look similar.
