Feature request: manually choose icon #1870

Hi,
it would be nice to manually choose an icon, since the algorithm to automatically choose one is easy to confuse.
For example, i use | to arrange rarely needed codes at the end of my list. But then i they have no icon, as they are not recognized.
Same for in any way renamed list items.
Another neat feature, and a workaroung for this issue, would be (simple) grouping, but sadly you closed the feature request. #677
