The update worekd like cream but all my old Mails - Direct Messages in /mail/combined are gone... are those lost ?

Can you restore? I think things have changed in Hubzilla. Please make the /home/yunohost.backup/archive/hunbzilla* folder safe. That will have your data.

Is the issue resolved. Or we can wait for Hubzilla 5.0 so Hubzilla can be upgraded and test for this issue.

well ... all my old Direct Messages i can´t finde anymore :-(

I think this feature was removed in Hubzilla 5.0 all together, no?
It was my mistake on this issue. I accidentally updated the sources of dav branch with stable version of the addons, which messed it up.
