@adamwbb, thanks for the debug info. From my end, it looks like it is a hosting provider/PHP configuration issue. I plugged in the server information that was in the debug to the demo interface, and it worked fine.

I also assume you are on a shared host on output of APPPATH. Some shared hosts disabled the ability to open sockets or communication in any way with PHP.

EDIT: I would be glad to help you out to see if we can get it working.

Mine is running on the default PHP config. If it isn't outputting the JSON for debug, either, you don't have php5-json installed/enabled or you are running a version of PHP where JSON_PRETTY_PRINT isn't supported.

Yeah, then it is a old version of PHP. x < 5.4 (IIRC).

I don't have a ton of knowledge on the CentOS package manager. You could try this or a Google.
