Celdar at the guardhouse calls you 'son' in one of his dialogs, even if you've chosen a female character...

Another one: Tahalendor calls you a 'young boy'.

But this issue isn't just an easy wording fix as I also noticed that quite a few people mistake you for Andor, notably Landa. The quest notes say that he confused you with someone else and that he saw a boy...

So might be a larger issue here.

Thanks for reporting these.

This issue is actually a lot deeper than that, when you take translations into account.
I still have to find a satisfactory technical solution to handle player gender variation, as different languages react very differently to gender. Sometimes English need two different sentences, where another language needs only one, or the opposite.

We decided to make an easy first step by introducing the female sprite and push the rest for later.

Changing "young boy" to "young kid" would fix that one. But, as Zukero says, it's bigger than that. Mikhail starts the whole thing by referring to "your brother", and then, as you note, many people say you look like Andor. Sisters and brothers can look alike, but usually not to the extent that you would mistake one for the other :). Anything can be written in a gender neutral way in English, but it would be a lot of work to sift through all the dialogues and rewrite them. Even if that were done, every translation opens another can of worms.

Re: young boy

I think a sister and a brother can look very much alike at a young age. Changing to Kid would help.

In Spanish changing to "jóven" without reference to gender would do as work.
