replace(pattern RegExp|string, replacement string)(value) -> replaced string

replace(pattern RegExp|string, replacer) -> replaced string

Replace a pattern denoted by regular expression or string. If supplied a replacer instead of a replacement, call the replacer each match to resolve a replacement. Defers execution to a value's .replace property function.
