limactl ls command not displaying VMs - Why?

I have:

$ limactl ls
WARN[0000] No instance found. Run `limactl create` to create an instance.
$ colima ls
PROFILE    STATUS     ARCH      CPUS    MEMORY    DISK      RUNTIME    ADDRESS
default    Running    x86_64    4       6GiB      100GiB    docker

Now I'm curious, as I would like to have a UI to manage VMs, like https://github.com/afbjorklund/lima-gui .

Colima does not use the default Lima directory.
