Reasoning/inference functionality

Does QLever provide any form of reasoning/inference functionality similar to those of other triplestores like GraphDB?

Hello,
actually we would also be VERY interested to check if there is any update and info on the reasoning/inference functionalities in QLever (as Virtuoso rdfs/owl and GraphDB ..) !

and status of essential updated features for the triple store capabilities and SPARQL engine,
to be reliable as production complete system for semantic knowledge base infrastructures
or still "just mainly" a "Query Engine" for Efficient SPARQL+Text Search.

There is no support for entailment & reasoning as of now.

But there is now a foundation in qlever that at least helps getting there in the future, it is called materialized views. There are several limitations at the moment, as documented. The major one for your use case is that you can only use it in select queries.

Once this feature supports triples (as in construct queries), it will be possible to do at least some form of entailment in there. And the more powerful the feature gets, the closer it gets to standard reasoning, inference & rule engines.
