Is this repo still well maintained?

Serious question

is this repo still well maintained? there are 151 open issues, 36 pull requests and a bunch of merges that are just not being addressed

We use the older version in production and tried the new beta and its so broken on production builds that its not usable any more

Just trying to work out if we have to completely switch gridding tools or just wait
