Shouldn't we keep a separate conf file with all default values.

Similar to https://github.com/agiliq/django-blogango/blob/master/blogango/conf/settings.py

All default values can be kept here and hard coding will be at a single place. eg: DEFAULT_CHECKERS can be defined in this file.
