Teams considers messages to agents as user messages

Is there a better way to extract just the back & forth messages between the user & team leader? The runs in memory seem haphazard and filter on role doesn't work (for example: team leader instructing an agent also shows up as role: "user").

Yea, this is something I'd appreciate to know as well.

@ravishrawal I have tried three different models, Claude, Gemini and Deepseek. Can say Gemini(at times) and Deepseek does not do this when instructed(never tried without).

Hey Monali, Thanks so much! It is actually kind of urgent for one of our launches - basically when I pull up a user’s chat history I have no good way of selecting only the interactions between user & team leader (and not selecting team leader-agent transactions). Thanks for your help :)

Hi @ravishrawal ! Can you please share some details regarding your Team configuration. Are you using coordinate mode? The storage on the Team captures the interaction between the User and the Team leader where all Team leader messages have the assistant or tool role unless changed via the model.
