Please provide sane defaults,

Autocomplete and all the coloring is quite unnecessary, and is nevertheless enabled by default.

You probably should not expect anyone to tinker and un-configure what should, instead, be explicitly enabled by the user.

Imagine the horrible pain I had to endure switching from readline vi edit mode to this.

The main goal of this project is to provide autosuggestion and syntax highlighting. If you don't want these, you can stay in Readline. The configurations to turn them off are described in README, which I don't think is a horrible pain. Anyway, it has already been used by many people, so it's too late to change the default behavior.

That'd be the configurations in README §2.2. Technically, you may copy the configurations in §2.2 to your blerc. Other than that, we might add a ready-to-use file in the blesh-contrib repository and mention it in README.
