Follow Request

I tried to follow a mastodon account that manually accepts follow requests.

This was tried in the official Mastodon app, and in FediText.

There is no change in state of the follow button. Usually the button text changes to "follow requested" or something similar.

I have EMA logs but couldn't decipher anything useful.
