RaspberryPi image not working out of the box on rpi 3 B

I thoroughly followed this guide https://github.com/albfan/miraclecast/wiki/raspberry-pi-3

Unfortunately on my raspberryPi 3B, runnnig miracle-wifid make wpa_supplicants show errors about p2p not being supported.

But running res/test-hardware-capabilities says wlan0 supports p2p.

probably you did not stop wifi, so miraclecast is reusing existing wpa_supplicant (not configured to support p2p) you need to kill/stop your network manager and wpa_supplicant it spawns
