Menu screen uncloseable

On a playthrough on Newgrounds I paused the game at one point, when I unpaused, the 'Resume' button as well as the other buttons for that menu were present.

I could continue playing however that was still pasted on top. Sadly no screenshot, but still an issue

I had this same problem once, but disregarded as a temporary thing. I'm sad to know other people might have it more frequently than I do.

The source of this matter most certainly is at the pause-handler class. I'll take a look on it over the next few days.
