Overview

In response to Apple's initiative to elevate privacy standards, third-party SDK developers, including InstantSearch iOS, are required to provide detailed privacy manifests. These manifests are essentially property lists documenting the data collection practices and the rationale behind the required API uses within apps or SDKs.

As per Apple's guidelines, starting May 1st 2024, any applications or updates lacking these privacy manifests risk rejection from the App Store.

Algolia Update

We've just published this guide to help you add a privacy manifest.

We are preparing to release a new version of InstantSearch iOS that will include the required privacy manifests. This update will ensure your applications are compliant with Apple’s latest privacy requirements right out of the box.

We will keep this issue open and post any updates here, so make sure you're watching to stay informed and up to date!

@GonzaloJamble

Maybe I am wrong, but I think that every single third-party library has to include the manifest as a resource. as they explain here

I don't know why you don't create a new release version
