Error: missing plugin qtAlicevision

Can Someone pIease, PLEASE help? Tried for hours and hours now. I'm not a programmer. Just someone trying to download and use Meshroom. have downloaded and installed from alicevision the official pre-built binaries for Meshroom multiple times so not sure why this keeps happening. When I run the program and try to add image files to the image gallery i get the error "missing plugin qtalicevision" The plugin folder qtPlugins is there. in qtPlugins folder , qtPlugins/qml/Alicevision plugin is there. It seems like the program is looking in the wrong place for the plugin. I see a batch file meshroom_batch but can't figure out how to read the batch file. Tried to open it in notepad++ and just get a bunch of random characters. Was really excited to use this program and am at a total loss now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
