Improve integration with Engaging Networks #603

Another idea for integrating with Engaging Networks: User Generated Content: when people sign petitions they could leave comments which could then be displayed on the petition page. e.g. change.org: https://www.change.org/p/abolish-the-bbc-licence-fee-91434ba3-c807-4853-9269-e1f66bee23d4 ![]() last year for the write for rights campaign, we trialled an option for people to write a personal note to the human rights defender, through engaging networks. ![]() it would be cool to see some of these notes on the petition page, with the users permission. |

I think this has been brought up as an idea before. I think the issue with UGC content is that we can't control what people say. If someone goes off piece and says something Amnesty doesn't agree with, would we still publish it? What would our policy be on that? Something similar that could work would be just having names and countries of people who recently signed? |

In the user survey, someone suggested the way the theme integrates with engaging networks is a bit clunky.
We've also had a user recently asking about this kind of signature counter feature as seen on Amnesty UK's home page: https://www.amnesty.org.uk/

Notes from @AmnestyAM on this topic:
I think we would probably need to gather a bit more information about how exactly the current set up is clunky and what people would like to see done differently. I just wanted to log this ticket so that we have somewhere to add ideas about these kinds of improvements.
