Hi All,
This announcement is to ensure developers are aware of recent policy updates and changes to seller-fulfilled returns.
As of August 16, 2021, as part of our Selling on Amazon policy, Amazon automatically authorizes in-policy buyer return requests that are exempt from the Prepaid Return Label program. Seller filed SKUs exempt from the Prepaid Return Label program will have the option to upload a merchant paid label. Return requests that are out of policy or category exempt will continue to be sent for manual authorization.
For International seller-fulfilled returns, selling partners are required to provide one of the following return options:
Also starting August 16, 2021, for international seller-fulfilled returns that are out of policy, Amazon may refund the Customer on a selling partner's behalf and charge the amount to the seller partner's account.

This applies to all marketplaces.
Who is affected?
Developers whose applications support returns or refunds may be affected.
What action is required?
Review the recent policy updates for seller-fulfilled returns and update your applications as necessary.
