Can't use SSH or non web traffic over VPN?

I have setup two servers using this script and they work fine for web traffic but I am unable to use SSH or any non standard port over the VPN.

Does this script set restrictive firewall rules and if so, how can I disable them? I'm not very familiar with Linux Firewalls.

I need to be able to use the VPN to connect to several services, Including SSH into other remote servers, over the VPN.

Edit:
I decided I should add more info. I'm running the VPN server on a debian Proxmox VM. I'm connecting to the server from Debian with KDE on my laptop.

I imported the wireguard config file with nmcli and it shows up in KDE connection manager.
