A recommendation for subs

Hello, so I realised that some subtitles don't show when multiple translations are on the screen. Say there's speech ongoing and a sign board in a foreign language pops up on screen simultaneously, the subtitles for speech don't show and the subs skip to the sign translation almost immediately. Is there a way to fix this and make both subtitles show on screen simultaneously for at least the required time to read?
