I have been playing with Model Context Protocol which allows services to provide a context to AI agents.

This ticket is a placeholder for the moment to research how we can develop a MCP server against the API client and provide context to AI agents.

Outline an authentication mechanism with the following properties:

• An out of the box solution for users that have a single Command Centre
• Way for developers to define their own authentication schemes - useful for corporates implementing this
• Way for us to implement a pluggable mechanism so we can offer services to others
