Is it possible to test ansible tasks related with iptables in molecule-docker?

I Wrote some tasks related with iptables.

I Want to test them in molecule-docker, But I can't.

I encounter the error "iptables v1.8.9 (nf_tables): Could not fetch rule set generation id: Permission denied (you must be root)\n".

Is there any solutions to solve above problem?

My environment:

molecule 6.0.3 using python 3.9

Hi @bkkoli,

you must run your container as privileged container:

platforms:
  - name: debian12
    image: debian:12
    privileged: True

Then you can check your iptables rules inside the container.
