My Experience with Ant Media Server (Enterprise Edition)
I’ve been using Ant Media Server (AMS) Enterprise Edition for nearly two years now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most reliable and stable streaming platforms on the market today. Throughout this period, AMS has proven itself to be an essential part of our broadcasting workflow — especially when it comes to live sports events, where stability and low latency are absolutely critical.
What stands out most about AMS is its robust performance and consistency. Unlike many other streaming solutions we’ve tested, Ant Media delivers steady performance even under heavy load. We routinely handle large audiences and simultaneous streams, and AMS continues to perform flawlessly, with minimal downtime or technical issues.
Another major advantage is the ease of management. The AMS Administrator Panel is clean, well-structured, and intuitive, making it easy to monitor live streams, control configurations, manage applications, and handle users — all from one central interface. For teams that manage multiple events or clients, this streamlined control panel saves a tremendous amount of time , we might need some feature added here and there .
The API in AMS is another key highlight. It’s well-documented, powerful, and flexible — allowing me to easily integrate AMS with other platforms and custom software that we use in our production ecosystem. This level of integration has helped us automate several workflows and create a smoother end-to-end streaming process. for sure we can get more api controll later when AMS update , can give us more control on things .
Support has also been excellent. The Ant Media team and community are both responsive and active. Whenever we’ve reported issues or suggested improvements, the developers have been quick to respond, release fixes, and even introduce requested features. It’s clear that they genuinely listen to their users and continuously work to make the product better.
Overall, AMS has become a core component of our live production setup. It combines reliability, flexibility, and professional support in one solid package. Whether you’re running a small streaming project or a full-scale media operation, Ant Media Server is definitely a solution worth trusting.
