Fresh Install hangs when creating environment file

Describe the bug
When I try to update the Settings > Configuration, I get the error message shown below.

Are you using the Docker image?
No - I did a git clone from the repo and ran the setup, as per the Read me file.

What version are you running?
v1.22.3

Database used
MariaDB

**Webserver used (when not using docker) **
Litespeed / Cloudlinux in a cPanel

Database version used
MariaDB 11.7.2

Error Messages
Unable to find an error in apache logs

Steps to Reproduce

Clean install on debian 12, installed composer, php8.2, and php extensions.
cloned repo (git clone https://github.com/antedebaas/Viesti-Reports.git)
entered folder (Viesti-Reports)
bash update.sh (installed with no errors (from source)
visit site and am greated with setup page. enter information and click on create environment file and site starts to load but then hangs.
no error shows in apache
attempted in chrome and safari

I'm unsure if we want to make a new issue as this may be related.

i manually created the .env.local file based off the .env.test file

commented out the database line and added
DATABASE_URL="mysql://viesti:realpasswordremoved@192.168.10.12:3306/viestidb"

when reloading setup, i get the option to update database schema however there seems to be a loop in the setup
checking apache log now i get an error

seems to be a duplicate entry, foreign key reference was already created on line 37

key does not exist (perhaps on drop calls a check could be added so a error is not thrown)

Also, a search shows that the error Apache reports is from the SQLite code. Even though the .env file has MySQL listed for the database

Looks like you are doing a lot of manual steps.
You should not manually create and .env file
Just clone, update.sh and then go to /setup via the browser

Unfortunately, that did not work. Perhaps something changed in Apache or Composer in a newer version that broke something.

I even deleted everything and started from scratch a second time, only to find that it was doing the same thing and not working.

I got it to work after creating the env file and manually populating the database.

However, we use Google for hosting our emails, and they eventually want OAuth2. I was able to get an app password to work for now. Eventually, though, anyone using Google cannot use php-imap to get emails unless they implement the new authentication system.

You’ll have to provide me with more details on why it didn’t work. Please use the template for that.

As for oauth. This is not supported at the moment as this is not yet implemented in php-imap. I’ll be following their implementation on this matter.

Hmm, I'm not sure how much more detail I can give you. I used the template initially to get to this point.

Perhaps there is a debug option somewhere that will get you what you are looking for, but I see no information about how to get to that point or how to get more logs.
