@bbovenzi Did some initial work based on the linked post. I am not able to get it working under strict mode in react due to the issue reactchartjs/react-chartjs-2#1037 where the chart has to be destroyed and recreated as part of the lifecycle that causes multiple renders. Feel free to reuse the code if needed.

Cool! I might be refactoring that entire modal this week. So let me figure if we using a charting library or the custom gantt we made in 2.x that stayed in sync with the grid view.

@tirkarthi At this point, we don't have the time. So I think 3.1 will focus on plugins and also better charts for all our overview pages.
