Gravitino only emits the events triggered by Gravitino interfaces which means if you changing table outside of Gravitino like though Spark SQL, Gravitino willnot emit any events. For External Iceberg REST catalog, If you are using Gravitino Iceberg REST catalog, it will emit |

Hi Gravitino Community,
I'm planning to capture post events such as
CreateTableEvent,LoadTableEventfrom Gravitino usingEventListenerPlugin. Considering the fact that Gravitino manage tables in external sources, if a new table is added in Gravitino for eg: External Iceberg REST Catalog, would it be captured by Gravitino and would EventListenerPluginEmit it? Could somebody provide a little detail on this, specifically with connecting External Iceberg REST Catalog?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
