This Improvement request (usability, performance, tech debt, etc.) affects these Traffic Control components:

• Traffic Stats

Current behavior:

Traffic Stats uses a URL to connect to Influx and Kafka servers/clusters without specifying an IP version.

New behavior:

Use IPv6 for all communication.

I'm -1 on this idea. I can't see the advantage of having to know what IP version you're using, let alone restricting it.

-1 as well. One should use DNS and normal IP orders (usually IPv6 first).
