what to do with my SecurityStage decorator?

I'm updating an application with API platform and we have a SecurityStageDecorator implementing SecurityStageInterface...

It was deprecated but I have no alternative to use instead.

We are using it to validate 2FA authentication... I guess our logic is a bit hacky but I would appreciate some pointers...
