I would not use this in a mission-critical environment just yet.

In terms of stability: I haven't battle-tested onetun much beyond flooding it with requests (which it handled fine), and using it to forward a couple public services from a Kubernetes cluster to my homelab. I wrote a small Helm chart for it: https://github.com/aramperes/momoperes.ca/tree/master/onetun

In terms of completeness: I just finished the proof-of-concept last night, so there are some features I still want to add that are listed in the GitHub issues. If you have ideas, please open more issues!

WRT boringtun and smoltcp, they are currently still on 0.x versions, so make of that what you will. They also haven't been publishing releases in a while, and I'm depending on their bleeding edge features.
