I'd like to extend the capability of this plugin to perform fast GPU operations. I am not sure of the legal implications of distributing AreaDetector with CUDA libraries. Does the Brookhaven Open-Source license "stick to everything it touches" with a source-code requirement like the GPL? Or at least, can I distribute the AreaDetector source, with the CUDA download "left as an exercise for the reader"?
