There are some breaking changes when moving from openai-python version 0.28.1 to the most recent version 1.1.0. For example, they renamed the api_base parameter and refactored how clients are structured a bit.

We have pinned the version to avoid unexpected regressions, but we should take the time to upgrade properly to take advantage of new functionality.
