Incorrect layer code

When selecting a layer and pasting code, or getting suggestions the code isn't for the currently selected layer. Instead the code is for the previously selected layer. If I select another layer, sometimes the suggestions update to the older layer, sometimes it stays the same, but it rarely has the code for the current layer.

After a long while the code seems to update to the correct layer, but we are talking minutes.
